There's nothing as glamorous to me as a record
store. When I recently played Amoeba in LA, I realised
what fantastic memories such a collection of music
brings back when you see it all in one place. This is
why I'm more than happy to support Record Store Day
and I hope that these kinds of stores will be there for
us all for many years to come. Cheers! - Paul
McCartney
"Folks who work here are professors
Don't replace all the knowers
with guessors
Keep'em open
they're the ears of the town"
-Tom Waits
Record stores can't save
your life. But they can give you a better one."-
Nick
Hornby
We are humbled by all the artists and people who WE
look up to who have spoken up about what the indie
record store means to them. We are also grateful
that
YOU read our missives and shop at our store.
We
know that you have many choices and it's all
at your
disposal and we very much appreciate your
continued
support. It'd be mighty lonely here without you!
SO,
we're going to try to make this inaugural Record Store
Day more of a Record Store CUSTOMER
Appreciation
Day. Read on for details-
