FRIDAY, February 2nd, 9pm: 3 GREEN WINDOWS
Seffner's own! A band put together by progressive rock guitar player Todd Grubbs. Todd and his drummer Jeff Henry started things, then the lead singer Bo joined and to complete the band they added Alan Tatum as their bass player. Note that this is an after-hours performance.
SUNDAY, February 4th, 3pm: BLACK DIAMOND HEAVIES (pictured above)
The recent trend towards blues-rock duos gets a makeover with the Black Diamond Heavies' keys & drums approach. Son of a Baptist preacher, the Texas-born John Wesley Myers handles the bass keys, fender rhodes, organ, knife and vocals. Louisville native Van Campbell handles drums and vocals and is descended from bourbon distillers. They describe their sound as "urgent, raw and full of ass-
shaking soul". Their live show has been described as both "Pentecostal" and "Demon-Possessed". Their new album, 'Every Damn Time', just came out on 1/23- you can hear it on one of our listening posts. We like them so much that we got 'em to drop in for a Sunday afternoon performance the day after they play New World Brewery. Fans of everyone from Tom Waits and John Lee Hooker to Lou Reed and Muddy Waters should find much to enjoy. All Music Guide describes it as "an impressive set of messed-up 21st century blues". Don't miss!

Also, loads of VINYL are arriving daily!
pictured here: Sam Shepard's Rolling Thunder Logbook- cover price $19.98; VINYL FEVER TAMPA price: $9.99!
In the autumn of 1975, when "New England is festering with Bicentennial madness," Bob Dylan and his Rolling Thunder Revue-a rag-tag variety show that Dylan envisioned as a traveling gypsy circus-toured twenty-two cities across the Northeast. Swept up in the motley crew, which included Joni Mitchell, Mick Ronson, Allen Ginsberg, Arlo Guthrie, Joan Baez, and Ramblin' Jack Elliot, was playwright Sam Shepard, ostensibly hired to write, on the spot, the script for a Fellini-esque, surreal movie that would come out of the tour. The script never materialized, but throughout the many moods and moments of his travels with Dylan and his troupe, Shepard kept an impressionistic Rolling Thunder Logbook of life on the road. Illuminated by forty candid photographs by official tour photographer Ken Regan, Shepard's mental-snap shots capture the camaraderie, isolation, head games, and pill-popping mayhem of the tour, providing a window into Dylan's singular talent, enigmatic charisma, and vision of America.

FEBRUARY FEATURES
now on our listening posts
Of Montreal* Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer?
an irresistible and remarkable album, sounding like a logical extension of the erratic indie-disco sounds of 'The Sunlandic Twins'. The double LP is 180-gram vinyl in a deluxe, triple-gatefold jacket with six bonus tracks!
The Shins* Wincing The Night Away
This third album is the sound of a band growing up and out. PLUS the album contains the lilting, exhilarating, rollicking, rock-solid pop songs we've all come to covet from The Shins.
Various Artists* Putumayo Presents A New Groove
Contemporary artists forge a new world of music on this eclectic collection of underground sounds.
VietNam* VietNam
"driving, psychedelic rock. Sometimes trippy, often catchy and always captivating." - WASHINGTON POST
The Trucks* The Trucks
electro pop meets northwest indie rock and it's all dressed-up in fishnets, wigs, and spandex. When you sing along, don't do it in front of grandma- the lyrics are often sexually frank and uncompromisingly descriptive.
